It was our leavers ball last night, my best guy friend (who knows i like him) was there. We had got ourselves ready at his, then going back to his after to stay.

I went to bed but remembered I had a card I wanted to give him, so I waited at the top of the steps near his door for him to come up, when he did I handed it to him and said thanks, and hugged me, then rested his head on my shoulder and then he kissed me on my neck/collarbone, it was sweet. He then slipped into his room without looking at me or saying anything. He hadn’t really been drinking, 3 pints with a three-course meal. It takes a lot for him to open up.
Any meanings behind this, or a what kiss on the shoulder means?
