How Do You Say ‘with Love’ In Scottish/irish Gaelic?

I don’t know if there is a huge difference between Scottish and Irish gaelic, but I would preferably like to know how to say “with love” in Scottish gaelic. Thanks for your help!

  1. Provillus Says,

It’s the same in Irish and Scottish Gaelic: Le: grah. Only the spelling is different. Scottish Gaelic spells it like Le gràdh while Irish Gaelic now spells it like Le grá.
e: sounds like the e in English “get” or “let.”
The differences between Irish and Scottish Gaelic are about the same as between High and Low German. However, their speakers can still understand each other for the most part. One Irish scholar, Malachai McCormick, told me once that he knew Irish Gaelic and could still understand 95% of Scots Gaelic whenever he read it.

  2. Brennus Says,

Le gradh would be a huge Anglicism, try “Deagh dhùrachd” - “good wishes”
